Yiwen graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s degree in Biostatistics and from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Psychology.

As a Database Analyst at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, she leads data quality oversight across multiple research studies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of research data. In addition to providing data support, she has developed pipelines for extracting and analyzing facial expression features from video data using statistical and deep learning methods.
