Grace Shariat Panahi
RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Grace graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2017 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Neuroscience and Biology, and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant in the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience, investigating molecular pathways involved in neurodevelopment implicated in psychosis.
She earned her Master’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University, where she designed and implemented a study examining the impact of pandemic-related stressors on adolescents’ psychological well-being and neural activity. In addition to leading this project, she contributed to several other studies focused on youth psychopathology and clinical intervention.
Grace is currently the lead Research Coordinator for the MULTICAST study. Her research interests center on identifying multidimensional predictors of treatment response and persistent psychopathology, with a strong commitment to leveraging machine learning and neurobiological tools to drive innovation in precision medicine for underserved and treatment-resistant populations.
