Our Approach

The mission of our research group is to revolutionize mental healthcare through cutting-edge advancements in computational psychiatry and precision medicine. We strive to develop individualized, accurate, and actionable predictive models that enhance clinical decision-making for patients facing posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health challenges. By integrating diverse disciplines—psychiatry, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, population health, and social equity—we aim to bridge the gap between research innovation and practical healthcare applications.

Our team works at the forefront of digital health innovation, leveraging routinely collectable data and advanced computational tools such as deep learning and digital phenotyping to uncover reliable markers, understand mechanisms, and guide tailored interventions for mental health disorders. Through our commitment to translational research and multidimensional approaches, we seek to empower clinicians, improve patient outcomes, and advance equity in healthcare delivery.

Guided by the principles of interdisciplinarity, collaboration, and impact-driven science, we are devoted to producing breakthroughs that reshape mental health diagnostics, treatment stratification, and preventative care, ultimately transforming lives and enhancing the future of mental healthcare systems globally.
